Dear colleagues, dear friends!

In 2012, in Minsk the Belarusian Union of Music Figures and the Belarusian State Academy of Music established the Republican contest of young vocalists named after F.I. Chaliapin. Four past contests received a positive response as an important event aimed at fostering a new generation of spiritual culture, understanding and love for native and world art.
The contest is held in order to preserve and develop the traditions of boys and young men academic vocal performance, to identify new talents among them and to support professional skills.
On March 23-25, 2018 in Minsk it is planned to hold regular contest of young vocalists named after F.I. Chaliapin, awarding to it the “International”status. The jury will be headed by the outstanding contemporary singer, the leading actor in Serbian People's Theater “Novi Sad”(Serbia), thechairman of the Serbian Shaliapin Society Branislav Yatic. Not only young Belarusian performers, but also representatives of various regions from Russia, Poland, Germany, Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine, Estonia, Hungary, Kazakhstan will take part in the contest.Information support will be provided by theRepublic of Belarus National State TV and Radio Company channels.
